How to install Samsung Notes on any Windows 10 computer?

Samsung Notes is probably the best note-taking app if you have a Samsung tablet like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. But wouldn’t it be more helpful if you can access and edit your notes from your Windows 10 machine if you lose access to your tablet?

The following is the steps I followed to successfully install Samsung Notes even if I didn’t have a Samsung laptop:

I have an alternate solution for those this didn’t work, because this solution didn’t work on my Lenovo Spectre.

1. Log into your microsoft account at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/windows from your smartphone (I am using the Galaxy S10 btw) I USED THE TAB S7

2. Search for Samsung Notes app

3. Click “Install on my devices” (this will show only on a different type of OS than Windows)

4. It should come up with your computer and all PCs under your name.

5. (When your PC is on) Check that PC and click “Install now”. If you were already in the Microsoft store on your PC you will see the download at the top.

6. Open Samsung Notes once it’s finished downloading, and log into your Samsung account to sync all your notes.

Hopefully this works for you guys

Hope this helped!

How much did my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 cost?

I got my Tab S7 from Kimstore for Php39,000.00. I got the SM-T875 model that came with 8GB RAM, 256 GB Storage, and LTE.

When both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus were made available to the Philippine market back in August of 2020, the base (SM-T870) Tab S7 was selling at P47,990. No article detailed the prices for the higher end models, but if I were to surmise, the SM-T875 could have been selling at around P54,990 when it was introduced 9 months ago.

Why choose the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 over the iPad Air 4?

Price

For almost the same price, I can get the 256GB Galaxy Tab S7 with LTE vs. iPad Air 4 Wifi only. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 already comes with the S Pen. You need to shell out another Php7,990 for the Apple Pencil 2 if you want a pen to come with your iPad Air 4.

Expandable Storage

I’m not even sure if I can use all the internal 256GB storage in the Galaxy Tab S7, but I’m attracted to the flexibility that I can expand my storage via Micro-SD card should I need it (and up to 1TB at that).

Samsung Dex

It may not be as powerful as a regular Windows PC or a Mac, but I like that I have this option. As a matter of fact, because of Samsung Dex, it makes me rethink my decision about getting the OnePlus 8 Pro over the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. If only Samsung could make available the Snapdragon variant in the Philippines instead.

More to come

I’m not done yet. I’m trying to recall my other reasons. I’ll update this post as I recall some of them.
